Rainbow Lodge is purpose designed, built by inveterate travellers Sue Mrozinski & Mark Dumble who understand the needs of today’s budget travellers, having spent several years on the world’s highways and byways that included a marathon cycle trip from London to Athens (via Stockholm & Warsaw).

Situated on the fringe of the Downtown area – you can enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep but are a short  5 – 7 minute walk to the shops and nightlife..

Standard & Ensuite rooms, off street parking, courtesy transport to the bus station, Free sauna, full laundry, central heating and a huge self-catering kitchen & dining room at the heart of the Lodge are just some of our facilities that make Rainbow Lodge a little different.

Add to this mix a sun drenched deck, a book exchange, friendly hosts and free Robert Harris coffee and you start to get the picture.

Backpacker establishments are all about atmosphere and personal service - somewhere special to remember when you return home.

We would love to share our Lodge, town, mountains and lake with you.
